Vallarta Sailing Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN: 47-3753866) supporting sailing and maritime development in Mexico.
Founded in 2015, Vallarta Sailing Foundation is committed to advancing sailing in Mexico. Our mission is to support sailors of all ages who aspire to compete in regional, national, and international sailing competitions and to elevate the profile of sailing in Mexico. Since our founding, we have provided funding through more than 100 grants.
We also work to raise awareness of sailing as a competitive sport in Mexico by promoting and sponsoring major regattas, including the Optimist North American Championships, ILCA World Championships, and J70 North American Championships.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
Donors age 70½ or older may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution directly from their IRA custodian to Vallarta Sailing Foundation.
